CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING IN MAISHOFEN

Would you like to get straight out onto the cross-country ski track after breakfast? Thanks to the location of our hotel in Maishofen, right by the cross-country ski track, you can do exactly this. The wide and sunny valley floor surrounded by the imposing mountain scenery offers cross-country skiers in Maishofen the perfect conditions for a relaxing cross-country skiing holiday in the region of Salzburg from December right through to the spring.
The 35 km track network as well as a 2 km track lit by floodlights offer perfectly prepared classic as well as skating tracks. In addition, the connection to the ski tracks of the neighbouring villages of Saalfelden and Maria Alm increases your possibilities further.

The Kohlschnait Toboggan Run is about 12 km away from the village of Bruck and promises great tobogganing fun with reduced entry for our hotel guests. The 3 km long natural toboggan run is illuminated at night and a toboggan express takes you up to the top. But, before you whizz back down into the valley, stop off for a drink or snack at the cosy Gasthof Kohlschnait inn.

In Maishofen, meanwhile, try out the Schloss Kammer toboggan run! The highlight: tobogganing with flame lit torches every Thursday after which everyone meets in the inn!
